Easter

I LOVE Easter!
I LOVE that it usually brings spring weather along with it. (apparently not in Rexburg though)
I LOVE the we celebrate the life of our Savior
I LOVE my beautiful kids and amazing husband
We are all so blessed
Here are Katelyn and Briggs all ready for church Easter Morning
Grandma Ellen bought these CUTE Easter clothes for the kids

Easter morning Katelyn and Briggs were both excited to see their Easter baskets.
I think there turned out cute! They were a big hit!

We had an Easter Egg hunt in our backyard on Saturday.
There was not much space, but the kids loved it!
Katelyn was concerned about what was in each egg and Briggs was concerned about how many eggs he got. In the end Briggs' basket was full and Katelyn was begging her little brother to share. Lucky for her he did. It was fun to watch them enjoy a mini egg hunt!

Some of my little guy...

Just like Katelyn,Briggs adores Sherm!
He loves to play with his dad on the floor. They wrestle and play football everyday!
Briggs also has a thing for helmets. Good thing we got him his own BSU one!
He use to try to wear Sherm's and it would just about knock him over!

Why oh why can't we all have a set of legs just like this little guy??
I know I wouldn't mind at ALL!
Briggs loves to run around wearing not much at all!
Especially while wearing his camo cowboy boots!
I think he looks pretty cute, dirty face and all!

someone thinks they are HOT stuff....

Katelyn's G-ma Liz bought this cute "basketball" outfit for her birthday.
Katelyn LOVED it to say the least.
She tires to wear it everyday and even on the days she does get to wear it she wears
it to bed too! As if she can'tget enough of this outfit!
And not to mention she thinks she looks pretty COOL in it too!

Katelyn's 4th Birthday Party

My baby girl turns 4!!
She is such a sweet little girl, so loving, so sassy and so much more!
We love her more than words can say!
Since we moved to Rexburg this last year we decided that it would be fun to have "friends"
birthday party for Katelyn, since we don't have much family around.
Although she did get a surprise visit from her Aunt Beth!!
So we invited the neighbor kids, headed to the dollar store and had a ball!
Katelyn had to get all dressed up for her PART-A! As she would call it!
Half way through the party she even made time for a change of wardrobe!
Although it was only ONE hour long we managed to squeeze in pin the tiara on the Princess,
stuff our faces with cup cakes literally and open presents.
I don't think Katelyn stopped smiling the whole time.
You can be assured that I did, as the little boy next door marches across the house
shoving cup cake down his throat, he ate THREE and took one home for later!
I am sure his MOM was thrilled...it was right before dinner after all!
All in all we had a great time! We LOVE you Katelyn!

Look who turns 4!

Last month Katelyn turned 4!

I can hardly believe it.

She is such a good girl and we love her so!

Here are 4 things Katelyn LOVES right now:

1. Preschool, Miss Kari and her classmates

2. Her Dad, her friends(boy friend Logan) and her little brother

3. Mac n Cheese, chicken nuggets, and ice cream

4. Nail polish, playing dress up and reading books

ok that was more than 4.

Enjoy these cute pictures of my big girl...

Oh how I wish I could get a picture of the two of these little rascals looking at the camera and smiling at the same time! Nope, better luck next time...

Katelyn seems to do better for the camera ALONE.

Not having Briggs there to bug makes a difference I guess.

There is never time for a camera when there is a ball in his hands...this kid is obsessed!

Field Trip!

Katelyn and her preschool class went on a field trip to the BYU-Idaho's Campus Post Office. Honestly, will attending college there and even after I had no idea this place even existed. On the day of the field trip Sherm had no school, so he stayed home with Briggs while I attended to field trip with her. Well, I was the ONLY mom that joined the fun! I was a little surprised and a little embarassed (i am sure all the teachers were like, get a life lady) but I had fun anyway. I just could not imagine sending my baby on her first field trip ALONE. She learned a lot and had fun with her friends. I really enjoyed seeing her with her teachers and friends.

We then went from the Post Office to the BYU-Idaho Animal museum. All these animals made Katelyn very nervous, but I did seem to get a few shots of her close to and looking at the animals. I mean, wouldn't this bad boy make you nervous too?
