Merry Christmas!

Man I love these three...

...and I love this time of year! We are so excited for Christmas, especially Katelyn, we talk about her Christmas list aleast 5 times daily! Oh, and Sherman dressed up as Santa for a fundraiser, Katelyn was scared at first, but then I over heard her bragging to all the kids "my dadddy is Santa" with one hand on her hip and the other in the air! To say the least she is very proud of him. In fact she has been calling him "Santa" ever since instead perhaps the usual "sherman", "mommies husband" or "daddy". We love the stage she is in right NOW, she changing and learning new things every day. Christmas day will be interesting, we can't wait! Here are the kids in their Christmas clothes, all ready to go to church.

Katelyn over 2 1/2

Briggs is changing so much too! He is such a pleasure to have around. He loves his big sister, she can get him to laugh at just about anything, so cute! He loves his toes, his thumb (yes we have a thumb sucker in the family) and everything else he can get his hands on. He is a very smiley baby, he is always cooing, laughing and making other fun noises. He loves to be tickled by his daddy and loves mommies attention! Katelyn also likes to review Briggs' Christmas list everyday as well, I sure hope Santa doesn't dissapoint this year.

Briggs, almost 6 months

Briggs

This poor little man has been so sick the past week. He had a double ear infection and an eye infection, so sad. Although he wasn't feeling well he was still a pleasure to be around! Man I love this little guy, he is so much fun. We love our baby Briggs and are so glad he is feeling better!

Halloween...

We had a fun Halloween this year! Katelyn is at a fun age and Briggs was just easy going, we had a great evening. Here are some pictures of the kids...

Here is our little puppy dog, he didn't know what to think about this costume, but man he looked cute!

Now Katelyn on the other hand could not quit talking about her costume all week, in fact we are still talking about it. She had a ball going to the Trunk or Treat and to the fire station. She got really good at saying "trick or treat" and then "thank you", she loved running around with cousins and eating candy. When we went to the local fire station she got really scared and shy, they gave her some candy and then took us to see the trucks, I tried to put her in the truck put she started crying. I managed to get a couple of pictures of her with one of the firemen, they were so nice and thought she was so cute in her costume! After leaving she wanted to go back, I think now if we went she would do a little better. Maybe we will go again. Here is our little fireman (woman) all dressed up and ready to go. Linder Farms

We really enjoyed our time at Linder Farms this year! Hay ride, swings, cow ride, and mini donuts, can't ask for much more! I love this time of year!

Briggs

Just an update on Briggs. He is loving his big sister. While I am nursing him, he tries to keep her in sight at all times. Pretty cute, but not to comfortable for me! He is smiling a ton and laughs when we play with him. Each day we try to have tummy time, this is not to often due to the fact that he has a "hands on" sister. Katelyn tries to give him a toy, but usually she shoves it in his face. I am not sure when he will learn to roll over or crawl, he is never on the ground with out me! Well he actually rolled over 2 times last week but I don't blame him, I think he was sick of the toys in his face! He has been sleeping pretty good at night, on a good night he will sleep from 9 to 6ish. We have been going to Sherman's football games, he has loved being outside. He is an all around happy baby. We are loving our baby Briggs! Here is a cute picture of him in his new beanie hat and a picture of him in his Blue and Silver (Skyview colors) for the football game.

katelyn is singing Briggs a song...it goes a little bit like this "i love my family" over and over again. She is always making up songs. we love our katers! she is so funny!

11 weeks today...

oh man i love this little guy! I can't believe how time flies, it feels like I have known him forever! He is such a pleasure to have in our home. We love you baby Briggs!

Briggs' Blessing

On Sunday we Blessed Briggs, he looked so handsome in his little outfit and did so well during the blessing. Sherman did an awesome job as well. There for the special event was almost all of my family (we missed you Caroline, Brian and Johnny) and Sherm's family. It was so nice to have everyone there. And thanks to Grandma Ellen for the cute outfit! Here are some pictures of the special day.

She looks a little more like a little child than a baby to me here. that is so sad, but yet we love that she is growing up to be such a good little girl, helper and princess (which she has been refering to herself as!) Oh we love her!
