Happy Birthday Briggs!

Happy 2nd Birthday to the sweetest baby ever! We LOVE you Briggs and are so blessed to have you as part of our family! Words can't even express how much we love you and what you mean to us, thanks for being my boy!

At 2 Briggs loves:
Family
balloons
bubbles
his new bike
his ball hoop
basketball shorts and shoes
his football helmet
baseball mitt and ball >other peoples shoes, hats, and phones
Toy story
Letter factory
Mickey Mouse club house
motorcycle rides with G-pa, Uncle Mark and his dad
trucks, blocks, balls and his pillow pet
and anything his sister has in her hands!

At 2 Briggs weighs 30 lbs and is 3 feet 2 inches tall

Briggs talks a ton and is learing new words from his big sister everyday. He is our rough and tumlble boy, and we love him!

He is so cute, funny, smart and very sweet! He gives the best kissess and hugs daily!

For Briggs' birthday this year we had 2 parties. My Mom and Dad along with Mark and Beth came over for cake and presents. Briggs had a great time and loved the attention. Briggs got a ball hoop from my parents along with some clothes. We bought him jammies and a bubble gun.

We then had a little party with Sherm's parents! They bought him a new BIKE!!! He was so excited and loves his bike. The bike they bought is just perfect for not only him but us too. The bike comes with a long handle for the adult to push the bike and also steer the rider along. Such a life saver! His Aunt Lindsay bought him a wistle, gee thanks Lindsay! All and all Briggsie really had a great birthday! What a lucky boy!

Back on the farm....

We are so glad to be living back by our families! This is really exciting for ALL of us. Especially my two kids! They love their cousins and both sets of Grandparents! We also love living close to the farm again. My kids love going there to visit and of course, ride the 4-wheelers! Our cousin Cutter was happy to share his new ride!!

Mother's Day

I really do have the best Mom in the world!
She is such a good example to her kids and grandkids
I am thankful for all that she has done for me and continues to do for me!
I don't know what I would do with out her.
Love you Mom!

I am so honored to be a Mother
I have the best kids in the world, they are so sweet, lovable, funny and just darn cute!
How did I get so lucky?

Really?!?!?! How did I get so lucky.....

Katelyn's 1st Hair Cut

Just lately Katelyn's hair become a nightmare to comb through everyday
To be honest, there were days I avoided combing her hair, she usually looked like an orphan girl most days
Last weekend my Parents came to visit, it was then that I decided to take
her to get her hair cut.
It turned out so cute! It is so much easier to handle, we are both happy.
I was nervous to cut her hair, I didn't want all her curls to go with it
After getting it cut we have discovered she still has her same beautiful curly hair, I was so glad!

Easter

I LOVE Easter!
I LOVE that it usually brings spring weather along with it. (apparently not in Rexburg though)
I LOVE the we celebrate the life of our Savior
I LOVE my beautiful kids and amazing husband
We are all so blessed
Here are Katelyn and Briggs all ready for church Easter Morning
Grandma Ellen bought these CUTE Easter clothes for the kids

Easter morning Katelyn and Briggs were both excited to see their Easter baskets.
I think there turned out cute! They were a big hit!

We had an Easter Egg hunt in our backyard on Saturday.
There was not much space, but the kids loved it!
Katelyn was concerned about what was in each egg and Briggs was concerned about how many eggs he got. In the end Briggs' basket was full and Katelyn was begging her little brother to share. Lucky for her he did. It was fun to watch them enjoy a mini egg hunt!
