I tried telling her that she didn't fit in her babies stroller, but she insisted. Oh how dramatic she has been lately, she sure has a personality to fit that face!

I think that this is an indications that I spend way to much time on the computer. Katelyn wants to be into everything and help with everything. I have been giving her chores lately and I think it is helping, I do them with her of course, but she loves it. She is my little helper girl!

Sherm's Family

Trip to Utah

We went to Utah this pasted weekend to see Sherm's Grandma. We also got to see Sherman's Aunt Rexine and her daughter Nicole, Aunt Deon, Uncle Dave, and their daughter Ashley with her husband Jordan. Devon, Jamie (Sherman's sister) and Jordan made the trip as well. We also went to Sherm's sisters (Lindsay) place or work and got a family pciture taken. The girls got to go to the BYU Bookstore to shop while the boys did boy stuff. Katelyn loved being in a new place where she could explore what Grandma B's house had to offer! We had a good time and enjoyed ourselves, but it is always good to be home!

Painted Toddies!!

She finally let me paint her toes, I have tried several different time and no such luck. This time she brought me her finger nail polish, sat by me on the floor and raised her leg up to me. Ok, I got the hint, but didn't think that she would let me do it, I was floored, but man does it look cute on those baby toddies!! She can't stop looking and pointing to those cute painted toes! I think she likes it!! It is kind of sloppy, but for it will work for now, maybe next time she will hold still a little better!!

Lovin' Life

Bight and Early, seems to be the new norm, but man is she happy. Here is Katelyn in our bed after a good nights sleep in her crib. She loves being in mom and dads bed, infact it is extremly hard to get her out. She always does a little shimmi shake under the covers and then lunges for a pillow! Too Cute! Anyway there is nothing like a snuggle baby in the morning wearing tight little pajamas, I love it!!

Fun in the Sun!

We went to Sherman's little cousins soccer game, here is Katelyn watching Maddie and wearing my sun glasses. She was an angel and just loves being outside! She was cracking me up with her funny faces! She sure is a girl!

I can't beleive how much Katelyn has changed in just one year's time. She looks older and not so much like a baby anymore, I can't beleive it! Although her cheeks have thinned out a little compared to last year, they still are kissable and as for Aunt Caroline they are squeezable!! I love this little girl!!

Our little "Fire Cracker"

We had a great 4th of July, it is such a fun holiday for our family!! We started the day out by going to the Melba parade, it was fun, but much to my surprise Katelyn cried and wanted nothing to do with the candy or the parade. Maybe next year she will be interested in much more. Later we went to my parents house for dinner, it was great. My sister Caroline and Brian are in town, we had a great time visiting with them. We then went to Jeff and Joanna's house for fireworks and a slip and slide. On the way home we stoped at some friends house and watched more fireworks. It was a very enjoyable day filled with family, friends, and good food!!Katelyn was an angel all day and barely got a nap, so needless to say when we got home she was ready for bed!! But most of all we are so thankful for this free country that we live in and for the Men and Women fighting for our country. We are so blessed to live in America!! We can't wait until next year!

Sherm Got a Job!!!!!!

Sherm got a job last night! He got a phone call around 9:30 pm from the principal of Skyview High School here in Nampa. We are soooo anxious and excited about his job and the opportunity. He is going to teach freshman technology, although that is not what he went to school for, but it is a great place to start. Congrats Honey!!
