Briggs Turns ONE!

I can not believe how time flies...I would not in a million years think that I would be sitting here at my computer in Rexburg rather than Nampa. A lot has happened for our family in the last year. And what a year it has been, and the best part of that year is Briggs, we really have enjoyed him, he is so fun. His little personality has really started to show, and he is very fisty, just like his sister. Great, what did I ever do....but I love them both! Briggs had tubes put in his ears las month and has been doing great ever since, thank heavens for those tubes! He has 4.5 teeth and is WALKING like a champ. He loves to be outside playing with his sister, he also enjoys long bike rides. And he has a smile that melts my heart I love him so much. Happy Birthday Briggs, mama loves you!

His new Birthday toy...he is not sure what to do with it yet. Hopefully that will come with time, meanwhile he sure looks cute just sitting on it!

YAY! It is over...we are so proud of him! Sherman got his Masters of Arts in Teaching. Way to go Big dude (as Katelyn would call him)!

Meet the coach.....

REXBURG...

Sherman got a new job in Rexburg (he will be teaching at the high school and coaching football), so here we are. We love our new townhouse, our ward and our neighbors and the weather (for now anyway)! And we decided to pack these two cuties along with us....

We sold our house and MOVED....

We sold our house at the end of April!! Sherman and I bought this cute little home and moved in 6 months after we were married. It really has been a great place to start out little family!

Easter

We had a lovely Easter! Katelyn is really at a fun age and Briggs seemed to enjoy it too.

Katelyn's Birthday Party....

Katelyn turned 3 and is just as sassy as ever...we LOVE out Katelyn Girl!

9 MONTHS

Baby Briggs is 9 months old!!! I makes me so sad that he is growing up so fast, I can barely remember when he was teeny, although I am sad I have really enjoyed watching him grow and learn. He truely is a joy in our home. Katelyn tells me all of the time "I marry Briggs in the Temple"! Oh so cute, she really does LOVE her little brother. Here are a few things about Briggs:

• He is CRAWLING!!! Yay! He has waited so long for this, he has been determined to move for a very long time, and finally this past week he figured it out. It amazes me how babies learn, so cute!
• He can say, "ma ma ma ma" and "da da da da da"! Smart boy!
• He loves his mom, I feel like I am always holding that boy of mine, but secretly I LOVE that he LOVES me!!
• He just adores his big sister! He wants to be around her and playing with her toys.
• He has been sick several times in the short 9 months of his life. Way more than Katelyn ever was. Poor little guy. And just this morning he woke up with junk in his eyes and a runny nose, and last week he threw up (all night) for the first time. He has also had RSV and 2 ear infections.
• He is a very happy baby (when healthy) and loves people. Until they try to hold him and then he cries, unless he knows you the he is ready to play.
• He can clap and wave.
• And finally he has teeth. His 2 front choppers came early this month!!
• He goes crazy when he sees any sort of football, basketball or helmet. A sport boy for sure!

We love you Briggs!

Look who is 3....

that is right our little KATELYN turned three!

man we love our Katelyn! Here are a few things that we love about her:

• she is so funny, animated and dramatic.
• she loves her little brother so much, maybe even too much!
• she talks up a storm and never stops!
• she loves to play dress up, but then loves to be tom boyish too!
• she loves her dad, and calls him "mommy's husband" in public (yes it is her dad)
• she want to be a coach like her daddy!
• she loves to go to church and loves her teachers!
• we love her curly hair, it adds to her personality!
• she loves to play outside on her swingset or on her bike!
• she loves chicken nuggets, cheese burgers, apples, grapes, cheese/crackers, hot dogs and STEAK, ...just to name a few.
• she is so fun to have in our home.....we can't imagine life without this little girl!
